Meet Paul from A Heart’s Journey and The Journey Home!

I’m behind on posting the characters due to a lot going on in my personal life. I’ll be sending out my newsletter soon detailing the past few months. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can do so on the homepage of my website.

As most authors, I base character traits on people I know in real life. A good part of Paul’s personality is based on my husband.

*Paul is 6′ 2″ and athletic. He is very attractive, but doesn’t let it go to his head. Due to Genny’s low self-esteem in the first book, she feels that they are mismatched.

*Paul’s job in the Air Force is Air Transportation, same as my husband.

*Paul is very financially minded with a “cash for most everything” attitude. (My husband and I feel the same). This causes contention between Paul and Genny at times due to her upbringing (see my post about Genny). Some of this contention is in the second book as well.

*He is very knowledgeable about the Bible and his faith is strong. (Same as my husband). Paul’s faith frustrates Genny and she feels like an inadequate Christian in the first half of the first book.

*Paul is a very humble man.
