The Knitting Club
Three women’s lives intertwine in the yarn aisle of a craft store.
Grieving the unexpected loss of her beloved grandmother, Marin wants to honor her grandmother’s memory by teaching herself to knit. While shopping for yarn, she’s overcome with grief, and is comforted by a grandmotherly woman who offers her knitting lessons.
Reeling from her husband’s etrayal, Heather decides to pick up her old knitting hobby to distract her thoughts. At the craft store, she can’t find the yarn she needs to finish a project and breaks down in tears. A sweet older woman lends an ear and invites her to her home to knit.
Retired Spanish teacher and avid knitter Frida volunteers to knit socks for deployed service men and women. What is supposed to be a simple trip to the craft store to stock up on yarn turns into something more when she runs into not one, but two crying women in the yarn aisle. Inviting strangers into her home is not something she would normally consider, but when the Lord speaks, Frida listens.
The three women settle into their knitting journey together and become good friends. One day, a card arrives from a soldier who received their care package, turning Marin’s world upside down. And Heather receives shocking news that threatens to derail her healing journey.
Will Frida’s prayers and encouragement be enough to keep the knitting club together?

A Heart’s Journey
In the span of a moment, Genny Jones’s life is turned upside down when she receives devastating news about her brother serving in Iraq. In the wake of losing her parents and grandparents, Brandon is the only family she has—until now. Genny is left wondering why God has left her alone in the world.
Paul Thompson receives a call from Genny, his best friend’s sister, telling him that her brother has been killed. He pushes his grief aside to carry out the promise he made to Brandon years earlier. Paul agreed to help Genny if anything happened to him. When Paul realizes he’s in over his head, he and Genny make a decision that will follow them for the rest of their lives.
In her journey to make sense of the losses in her life, Genny is drawn to the beach where she finds solace. One day, when she reaches her favorite spot, she meets a group of people that will impact her life in more ways than she could imagine.

The Journey Home
With her husband Paul deployed to the Middle East, Genny Thompson does her best to provide a stable life for her two small children. Her efforts are hindered when she receives an early morning call from Paul’s commander with devastating news.
What starts out as an ordinary work shift alters Paul Thompson’s life in an unimaginable way. He must learn to live with an injury that leaves him debilitated, both physically and emotionally. How will he provide for his family with a military discharge looming over his head? Will his wife and children see him as the man he was before he deployed?
As Paul and Genny face a difficult journey, Paul receives news that could provide a better outcome for their future. This possibility ignites a fear in Genny that threatens to drive a wedge between them, and she finds it difficult to rely on her faith in God to give her strength.
Amid the turmoil between husband and wife, God brings someone into their lives who could fill a void in both of their hearts. Will this person be the key in bringing them back together?
Join Paul and Genny on their new journey in the much anticipated second book in the A Heart’s Journey series.
